The Sahara from Our Home Town
Ouarzazate, our home town, is a natural starting point for the Sahara. On this 3 days tour from Ouarzazate to the Sahara you begin with the highlights of the “Hollywood of Africa”, then follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through the Roses and Dades valleys to the Todra Gorges and the dunes of Merzouga, where you ride a camel and spend the night in a starry desert camp.
On the last day you return through Alnif, the Draa Valley and the Saghrou Mountains to Ouarzazate.

Day 1
Arrival at Ouarzazate Airport
Our team welcomes you at Ouarzazate airport. Depending on your arrival time, you can discover the area: the Taourirt Kasbah, Atlas Studios and the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, before we take you to your accommodation.
Day 2
Ouarzazate, Roses Valley, Todra Gorge and Sahara Desert
After breakfast you leave Ouarzazate and follow the Roses Valley and the Dades Valley on the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs”, with plenty of chances for photos. You visit the Todra Gorges, a canyon whose rock walls rise up to about 160 metres, and continue through Tinghir, Erfoud and the palm groves of the Tafilalet oasis to reach the Sahara dunes of Merzouga in the late afternoon.
In the late afternoon you ride a camel over the dunes and spend the night in a starry desert camp.

Day 3
Sahara, Alnif, Nkob, Draa Valley and Ouarzazate
After a night in the dunes you return to the hotel for breakfast and set off toward Ouarzazate. On the way you pass Rissani, a traditional market town that was the origin of Morocco’s ruling family and a meeting place of the trading caravans, with its souk under red arches and many ksour.
The road continues through Alnif, Nkob and other Berber villages to the Draa Valley, one of the longest river valleys in Morocco, lined with palm groves. You cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains and reach Ouarzazate, where you spend the night.
