MOROCCO DESERT TOUR FROM MARRAKECH

After a short stay in Marrakech, head off over the high Atlas mountains.Passing through some human heritage sites,the hollywood of Morocco (Ouarzazate),and many other views and sights on the way to the desert dunes.For insctance,the old kasbahs (kastles),the rose’s valley,the both gorges;Dades gorges and Toudra one.Then,to Merzouga,where there is the highst and most beautifull sand dunes(Erg Chebbi).

ITINERARY:

Day 1 : Marrakech – Ouarzazate :

You will be picked up by a four-wheel drive and one of our staff. We start our trip heading southbound to Ouarzazate towards Tizin Tichka (pass) with 2260 mts high, by this way we will know oasis, palmars, kasbahs and the beauty of the Medium Atlas.It is an occasion as well to appreciate the Bereber villages and their lifestyle.Driving through the world human heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou.Its is cinsidered as UNESCO centre since 1987.In here,where they have shoted and shoting many films,like :

Day 2:Ouarzazate -Rose valley – Boumalne Dades  – Tinghir – Merzouga (The Desert):

After breakfast, we begin the day,going through the palm grooves of Skoura,passing from the Rose town,and Boumaln Dades,then the splandid gorge of Toudra. Tinghir is one of the most and nicest palmars city in Morocco  then to Erfoud city, and Errisani,the first imperial city of Morocco, before we get to Merzouga.

Day 3 :Merzouga – Sand Dunes – Khamlia – Merzouga .

After the breakfast,we spend the day among the the desert,going surround all the dunes on the area,visiting some nomadic berber people that living in the tents.In addition to that,we stop in spacial village originately Mali’s people to listen to some of their music and see their traditions in their association.In the first hours of the afternoon we go back to the same hotel to be prepared for taking and ridding camels to sleep on the berber tents (the camp).

Day 4 : Marzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate:

After enjoyed night on the middle of the dunes, we get back to the hotel, where we can have breakfast and shower. On our way to Ouarzazate we enter Rissani city, here is where all the financial movement takes place and it is the first Imperial City of the Country, the Souk under the red archs and its many Ksours. Following the road to Alnif,nkoub and many other villages to reach the magnificent Valley of Draa.It is the longest river in Morocco,about 1200 kms a long with 350 or 400 kms full of palm trees.Going through this lovelly valley,crossing the mountains of anti Atlas to arrive at Ouarzazate the late noon.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Marrakech:

After the breakfast,we will have enough time this day to visit the kasbah taourirt in the centre of the town.One of the pretty kastles in the southeast of Morocco.Crossing back the hight atlas back to Marrakech.
