Itinerary Women’s tour in Morocco
Day 1: arrival in Marrakech
We pick you up at Marrakech airport and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2 : Marrakech – Ouarzazate
You will be picked up by a car from the accommodation, and we start our journey of the women’s tour in morocco from Marrakech to the desert. Cross the Atlas Mountains by the Tichka pass. With 2260 meters high, this way we will see the oasis, palm grove, kasbahs and the beauty of the Atlas. It is also an occasion to appreciate the Berber villages and their way of life. We will drive through the world heritage of humanity Ait Ben Haddou. Considered as a UNESCO center since 1987. Day 3: Ouarzazate – Agdz – Draa Valley – Zagora
After breakfast, we start our 7 days family trip from Ouarzazate crossing the Anti Atlas, the road that will take us directly to the huge Draa Valley, with more than ten million palm trees. Before driving to the gateway to the desert Zagora. Near Zagora is the Koranic library, the factory of artisans, and the subway Kasbah of Tamegroute. Return to Zagora where we spend the night.
Day 4 :Zagora -Tafraoute – Ramlia – Ouzina
After breakfast, we will drive through 280 kilometers (ex Paris Dakar Rally) with the 4×4, crossing the desert with a unique view of the “sand rivers”, dry lagoons, and endless plains where we can find nomadic villages. At this stage we really begin to know what the desert is. Parallel to the Algerian border, where we find the Tafraoute refuge. On the road again, through the famous sand dunes of Ouzina, the unknown desert where we spend the night.
Day 5 : Ouzina – Merzouga
After breakfast, back on the route of Paris Dakar Rally, we will have tea with the nomads. We will see an Oasis of the Sahara desert. It is interesting also to visit an association of African music, special music by the locals of Mali. They have an association for show and lunch teaching children. In the afternoon you can ride the camels and go between the dunes to go to the camp. Almost evening it’s time for a very special privilege: watching the sunset from the camp, surrounded by the dunes. We will sleep in a real Berber tent with a unique and very special roof : the stars of the desert!…
Day 6 : Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra – Dades Gorges
After a pleasant camel trek, with the sunset and the sunrise on the top of the dunes, at the beginning of a new day. By desert road we will go to the small town of Rissani where we visit the soco. One of the most typical and ancient markets in the area. Then departure towards the Todra Gorges, a very special place for mountaineers, climbers and trekking enthusiasts. We follow the route that leads us to where the great canyon of Dades where we spend the night.
Day 7 : Dades – Valley of Roses – Skoura – Ouarzazate
After breakfast, we visit the Dades Gorges with the possibility of a short hike. We continue our journey through Boumalne Dades, and the Valley of Roses, and the palm grove of Skoura, until we reach Ouarzazate city . With its magnificent landscapes, its exceptional light and its ideal climatic conditions, Ouarzazate has soon seduced the world of cinema. Ouarzazate is home to three major film studios. Created in 1983, the Atlas Studios are worth a visit. Open to the public, they offer a grandiose spectacle: giant pharaohs guard their doors. Here you can see the sets of sensational films, decoration workshops and discover the backstage of the film industry. Another curiosity, the Cinematographic Museum was established in a former Italian studio of the 90s, once inside the visitor is immersed in Ancient Greece, in the Middle East of yesteryear or in an unwelcoming prison. Brimming with authenticity, all these decorations are made in plaster.

Day 8 : Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast, visit the Taourirt Kasbah. The Taourirt Kasbah. It is considered as National Heritage, therefore it is one of the most visited in Morocco. The almighty Lord of the Atlas and his relatives had properties all over the south of the country. The Kasbah Taourirt was one of them, and what is more, the Glaoui family had its origins here. Then we cross the High Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech.
Day 9 : Marrakech – Marrakech
In the morning accompanied by an official city guide to discover this exotic city with its historical monuments. As the old medina, the minaret of Koutoubia, the Bahia Palace, Majorelle gardens, historic tombs and the famous Koranic school ben youssef. Rest of the day at leisure.
